Experience and Background
Keith E. Armstrong is senior counsel with Andrascik & Tita LLC. He has a wide array of legal and business experience in commercial real estate. Following a federal clerkship, Mr. Armstrong began his legal career as an associate at Dechert LLP, representing lenders, borrowers, servicers, special servicers and a rating agency in a wide array of transactions, including mortgage and mezzanine loan originations, workouts, securitizations, loan modifications, and defeasance transactions. When Mr. Armstrong left Dechert, he spent four years in the transaction management group of Capmark Finance (f/k/a GMAC Commercial Mortgage), eventually co-heading that group, where he negotiated the origination and disposition of billions of dollars of commercial mortgage and mezzanine loans for securitization and balance sheet hold, including loan sale, co-lender and intercreditor agreements. Mr. Armstrong spent another four-and-a-half years at Capmark working out more than a half-billion dollars of loans in forbearance, discounted payoff and deed-in-lieu of foreclosure scenarios, also foreclosing on, and disposing of, REO properties, including a variety of litigation and bankruptcy scenarios.
Mr. Armstrong is a member of the Colorado, Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars.
Mr. Armstrong is a graduate of The College of New Jersey (B.S., Magna Cum Laude, 1994) and Rutgers University School of Law – Camden (J.D., High Honors, 2000).
